2 Minute Football — Play Free Online
Football2 Minute Football gives you the clock, the ball and one drive: get down the field and score before the two minutes run out.
About 2 Minute Football
2 Minute Football is the two-minute drill as a whole game. You start with the ball, the clock is at two minutes, and the only thing that matters is a touchdown before it hits zero. Pick a play, snap it, and either run with the quarterback or hit a receiver. Every incomplete pass stops the clock; every tackle in bounds keeps it running.
It is a game about clock management as much as throwing. The scoring plays are simple; knowing when to take a short completion and when to spike it is what turns a stalled drive into six points.
How to Play 2 Minute Football
- Choose a play from the options shown before each snap.
- Snap and either throw to a receiver or run with the quarterback.
- Watch the clock. Get out of bounds or throw incomplete to stop it when you need to.
- Score before time runs out, then do it again with less time or against a better defense.
Controls
- Mouse: click a receiver to throw to him; click and drag to run with the ball carrier.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move the ball carrier.
- Touch: tap a receiver to throw, drag to run.
Tips and Tricks
- Sideline routes are your friend: a catch near the sideline lets the receiver step out and stop the clock.
- If nobody is open, throw it away rather than taking a sack that keeps the clock running.
- Save the deep shot for when the safeties creep up to stop the short stuff.
- A running play from the shotgun surprises the computer once a drive, not twice.
