Bowling Stars — Play Free Online

Sports

Bowling Stars is ten-pin bowling with a swipe: aim, roll, add spin and chase the strike.

About Bowling Stars

Bowling Stars is a clean ten-pin game. Ten frames, a lane, a set of balls and a swipe to roll. Direction comes from where you start the swipe and where you release it, and a curve in the swipe adds spin, which is the difference between a seven-pin split and a strike. It plays solo, against the computer or against a friend taking turns.

It is relaxed rather than frantic, and a well-thrown hook feels excellent.

How to Play Bowling Stars

  1. Choose your ball and lane.
  2. Position the ball with the mouse or your finger.
  3. Swipe forward to roll; curve the swipe to add spin.
  4. Knock down as many pins as you can across ten frames.

Controls

  • Mouse: drag the ball to aim, drag forward and release to roll.
  • Curve the drag left or right for spin.
  • Touch: the same gesture with a finger.

Tips and Tricks

  • Aim at the pocket between the one and three pins, not the head pin square on.
  • A little spin from the side of the lane finds the pocket more often than a straight ball from the middle.
  • Slow, straight rolls are best for a single-pin spare.
  • The lane's arrows are there to aim with; pick one and use it every frame.

Bowling Stars FAQ

How do I add spin?

Curve your swipe. A swipe that bends to the right at the end gives the ball a hook to the right.

Can I play against a friend?

Yes, taking turns on the same screen.

Is it full ten-frame bowling?

Yes, with standard scoring for strikes and spares.
