About Football Legends

Football Legends is the soccer entry in MadPuffers' Legends series: a small pitch, a big-headed footballer on each side and a goal at each end. Matches are quick, the special moves are absurd, and it is at its best with two people on one keyboard. You can also play the computer through a tournament and unlock more players.

The 2021 edition is the one hosted here. It runs in the browser without plugins and the controls fit on one keyboard for both players.

How to Play Football Legends

1. Pick one player or two players and choose your footballers.
2. Move around the pitch, jump for headers and kick the ball toward the goal.
3. Charge the special meter and unleash the player's signature shot.
4. Score more goals than your opponent before the clock runs out.

Controls

• Player 1: WASD to move and jump, B to kick, V for the special shot.
• Player 2: Arrow keys to move and jump, L to kick, K for the special shot.
• Touch: on-screen buttons.

Tips and Tricks

• Jump into the ball when it is above head height; a header from the top of a jump has real power.
• Do not spam kick. A kick that misses leaves you standing still while the ball rolls past.
• Stand between the ball and your goal when the opponent's special is charged.
• The specials are strongest from close range; save yours until you are near the box.

Yes. Two-player mode uses one keyboard: WASD, B and V for player one, arrows, L and K for player two.
