About Basketball Legends

Basketball Legends is MadPuffers' basketball game, and it plays the way its soccer sibling does: big-headed players, a short court, and a special move for each character that can flip a game. Play one-on-one or two-on-two against the computer, or share the keyboard with a friend. The 2020 edition hosted here includes a tournament, quick-match and two-player modes.

Matches are short and scoring is easy, so the game is about tempo: when to shoot, when to steal and when to hold the ball and let the special meter fill.

How to Play Basketball Legends

Choose a mode, then your players.
Move around the court, shoot when you are open and steal when you are not.
Fill the special meter and use the signature move.
Have the higher score when the clock runs out.

Controls

Player 1: WASD to move, B to shoot or steal, S to pump fake, V for the special move.
Player 2: Arrow keys to move, L to shoot or steal, Down to pump fake, K for the special move.
Touch: on-screen buttons.

Tips and Tricks

A pump fake gets the defender in the air; shoot as he comes down.
Three-point shots are worth it only when open. Two easy points beat a contested three.
On defense, stay between your man and the basket and steal only when he starts his shot.
The special moves are near-automatic points. Use them as soon as they are charged.
