Tennis Masters keeps tennis to what matters: get to the ball and hit it where the other player is not. Rallies are fast, the court is small and you can play a tournament against the computer or a match against a friend on one keyboard. Shots have direction and power depending on where you meet the ball, so there is more depth than the first rally suggests.

It is a good ten-minute game and a very good two-player one.

How to Play Tennis Masters

1. Choose a mode and a player.
2. Move to the ball and press the hit key as it reaches you.
3. Aim by hitting the ball early or late and by where you stand.
4. Win the points, games and sets the match is set to.

• Player 1: WASD to move, Space to hit.
• Player 2: Arrow keys to move, Enter to hit.

Tips and Tricks

• Hit the ball early to send it cross-court and late to send it down the line.
• Come back to the middle after every shot.
• Against the computer, change direction every shot; it moves well but recovers slowly.
• Hold the hit key a moment for a harder shot.
